BULAD = TUYO


Bulad is Visayan for dried fish. It comes from the word, uhm, "bulad" or "ibulad" which means to dry in the sun. In Tagalog, it is called tuyo from the the word, uhm, "tuyo" which simply means dry. See the difference in context? :-)

ayoko ng tuyo talaga. i only buy it for my mom and my sis who absolutely go nuts over it. hmph.

the saltier the better... ahhh.. the brazen flavor of the sea and brine with sinamak and tomato-onion omelette and sinangag! the best pinoy breakfast.... kasama ang longganisa...yumyum...

what other bacolod treats have you found out?

btw dylan, i just had a slice of pecan pie with vanilla icecream at calea for P69...hehehehe... yumyum... ang sama ko
